Clients face exposure to significant risk if a non-compliant contractor, supplier or employee is allowed to access a worksite.

The Ipro iCard™ is an access card system designed to monitor and control employees arriving to work at a site. Existing and prospective employees, who have been issued an Ipro iCard, simply swipe the card through an Ipro icard reader installed at one of the designated site access points.

The reader will immediately scan their details, verify the card holder’s compliance status and determine whether to prevent or allow them access to the site.

Using the Ipro iCard™ access card system

The Ipro iCard is an optional module that works in conjunction with the Ipro LiVe compliance and verification system.

Swiping the Ipro iCard will connect it to the powerful Ipro LiVe system for employee information and compliance verification.

To use the Ipro iCard module, an additional compliance requirement is entered into Ipro LiVe which requires each employee’s account to include a colour copy of his/her driver’s licence. Ipro LiVe then verifies that the driver’s licence matches the Ipro LiVe account holder’s details. It also verifies that the photo on the licence is an acceptable form of photographic identification.

Only an employee who meets the Ipro LiVe compliance requirements will be issued an Ipro iCard.

To attain an Ipro iCard, employees must: a) be fully compliant; AND  optionally b) work for an employer who is fully compliant with the verified photographic identification reproduced in the Ipro iCard access card.

Accessible 24/7, Ipro LiVe will then be able to match the swiped Ipro iCard holder’s details to their Ipro LiVe account and instantly verify whether the card holder is compliant with all appropriate regulations and client requirements for working on that site. If the iCard holder’s status has changed, making them non-compliant, s/he can be refused access to the site.
